What's your source water like? Many folks just add back a bit of tap water if it's just hard and doesn't have nitrates, salt, etc.
Hi all, I just recently set up a RO/DI system and I'm curious of what I should add back into the water before putting it back in the tank. I have it set up currently in a Rubbermaid 55 gallon can. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You can add back some of the waste water from you RO unit. However, test it like Rogue said. I've used RO right from Kent or Replenish from Seachem. However, if you've got plants, Equilibrium from seachem works well because it doesn't have NaCl.
I agree with Brian. Also I would ditch the DI filter. It's only necessary for saltwater fish, it's the most expensive of the filters and it's the first to wear out. Replace it with another carbon block.
