OMG, I made this today and I think it might be even better than your famous chicken. What a punch of favor in small meal! I had to substitute a few ingredients that I thought I had but didn't. It was still killer. I'm just having 2 lovely tender meat balls and it's too much for me. I'll eat it all, although it'll take me a while. This is too good to give to the dogs to finish it for me as I usually do when I eat.

Great to hear that, Liz - very nicely said. Real happy you like it.

I feel the mellow lightness of the sauce and the tasty tenderness of the meat balls make this dish quite outstanding, if I do say so myself - I like it so much that I've made it 3 times over the past 10 days !

lol, I have enough left over to have 4 meals. I'll have it again tomorrow for sure, and the rest will have to wait in the freezer for later.

I actually have never been fond of meat balls due to their heaviness. These are indeed light, tender and juicy. I don't think I've ever had fennel in anything before. I adore the flavor and aroma of it. It is unique and delightful.
