The only thing you have to remember is not to cross a PB with an non PB unless you're ready to deal with a lot of pepper in the fry.
How do you know what discus strains you can breed together, let's say a snakeskin and a turg or a turg and a wild cross.

Thanks Liz no pb here they don't seem to my cup of tea, just snakeskin and turks so I guess I'm ok.

I bought 10 juvies from Al. They were from his pair of bss and a bt. I saw these fish in person
and they were beautiful in every respect. The group is now about 8-9 mts. old.
They consist of 4rss, 1 rt, 1 bd 1 bss and 3 fish that I can't tell. They are a cream/brownish color
with no striations.
My point in this I think , other then pbs, it doesn't matter what you cross because the discus today
have been developed over the years by untold amounts of mix strains.Lots of different genes.
Just imho.

Any thoughts from you folks? Am I right
or Are discus today a really mixed genetic soup?
