Thought I'd ask you folks. I've got a nice small harvest of orange habanero peppers going. I may use one I know it's best to find locals who'd like them, but just wondering, has anyone tried to sell fresh produce online? Or buy? I suspect there are rules, like what I can't bring into California from Oregon. A mailer and maybe an icepack and I could ship them.

You would have to look at the "invasive specie" listing for each state you intended to ship to as peppers have seeds. Also different states have different rules as to what can be brought in.

Coming into Oregon from Washington on I-82 there is a sign stating a prohibition on bringing fruit and vegetables across the border into Oregon (this was done to try and stop some of the parasites that harm fruit and vegetable production).

That said I think you could do a facebook posting in a buy/sell page for your local area.

Do you have any hole in the wall Mexican food stores in your area? I do. I bet you'd have better luck selling to them than on line. People these days like fresh and locally raised produce. At least I do.

I have experience with selling t shirts because I have small online shop. But such kind of business is a bit hard because you need to know how to promote your shop and what tools better to use. In my work I use mvp app which I found in article https://spdload.com/blog/guide-to-launch-an-mvp/ and install in my project.
