    Yes, but do dry off both surfaces as well as possible.

    Cyanoacrylate gel is working ok when wet. You just have to press the plant down until it dries. Is this a fast setting glue?

    The gel is good because it is thick and holds its shape better.

    With that said, you can always go for CA Accelerator like this: https://www.amazon.com/Starbond-Inst.../dp/B00BUVAY9K.

    I know a lot of folks like to use cigarette filters as a base and glue plants to that. The filter dries hard very quickly so you don't have to hold down plants for long.
