I always get curious everytime I see fishs like discus having kids and stuff, I wonder if there are an emotional connection. As well as having a partner even though sometimes the male can be aggressive towards food and trying to not let the female have some even though he is a fat@ss. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone does know if they do have these feelings?

Google says "yes". Reseachs have found that fish recognize each other and gather information by eavesdropping. They're capable of remembering past social interactions that they've had with other fish and they show affection by rubbing against each other.
