Glare on my tank

During the daylight hours I get a lot of glare on my tank glass. It's not direct sunlight, just ambient sunlight, but it causes the glass to act somewhat like a mirror, and I can't see into my aquarium as well during the day. I want my tank to look like it does at night - is there any way to cut the glare by adding a film or something?
