Sorry I am having drama uploading pictures
At ph of 6 you do not have a good if any kh. Bicarbonates and carbonates is what keeps your tank stable from crashes. You feed your fish. The metablized waste makes things drop more. It's to do with - & + ion exchange. It happens in all tanks. Quicker if no buffer.
Now that I have all these any advise?
Can I use kanaplex and Metroplex same time
Yes you can, but at least double Seachem's dosing because their meds are only about 30% pure.
Thank you all for the advice medicine done fingers crossed I'll give you an update later on tonight when I get home from work around 11
I did loose my beautiful fish but want to thank all of you for trying to help
Sorry to hear that. I'm still not sure exactly what happened, but I think you did all you could do.
So I have one more question, I mentioned I had a pair in that hospital tank, I feel so bad for the remaining fish that lost his mate...I want to just pluck him out and put him back in the main tank, all parameters are the same. Do you think there is a risk for him getting the rest of the fish sick? Should I keep him in the hospital tank for some time to be sure? Both fish stopped eating 10 days ago. This fish has always been skiddish and stayed very close to his mate and very protective since this started. This fish looks perfectly healthy
