    Jeanne in with MOM as she is getting up in years and I am no spring chicken, so I am trying to disquie my bedroom as a fish room ,I got bitten by the discus bug really bad but it's a good hurt I have as best I can count with a wine glass in one hand and a beer in the other I have at least 25 discus in a 125gal ,those being snakeskin my oldest and largest and turqs ,super reds ,blues, and what looking like to be some really cool greens, so do I split them up starting with the oldest

    Hmm, 25 in a 125? I don't think that would be too cramped, considering some people here have grownout 18 discus in a 75 gallon. As long as you keep up with the water changes, which should be daily for a tank that size, I'd stay with that size of tank. There is ample room in such a large tank for 25 discus, but the water will foul quickly. I wouldn't recommend adding another tank as it would increase the amount of w/c's you'd have to do.
