Default Where to buy an alenquer-ish pair?

When I was in the discus hobby years ago, Alenquers were my dream, and I never got to have them.

I'm not in a hurry, but I'd like to buy a proven pair of them. If that's not possible, I'd prefer to buy some fry or juvies for growout. F1 or F2 is preferred just so I don't have to worry as much about the water with wilds.

I've been out of the hobby for so long that I don't know who's got what now. Can anyone help?

If Alenquers aren't available anymore, I could go for other wild crosses too.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Scott Taylor in San Luis Obispo county, CA.

I have purchased several Alenquer and Heckel from Kenny. He is located in Daly, California. Easy to ship to you from there.

We usually carry Alenquers, and right now have some nice adolescents (4.5-5.0") in stock. Check 'em out here at chicagodiscus.com

Thanks for the tip, Chicago! So much to catch up on after so many years away from the hobby!
