Default Setting up a new Discus tank

I have had fish for 20+ years, but I am thinking about taking it to a new level and switching to a Discus tank.

Currently I have 6 tanks in my home.

The display tank that I am thinking of switching over to Discus is 220 gallons and setup with the following equipment
    4 Radion Freshwater lights
    75 gallon sump
    3 purigen reactors
    ATK
    Auto water change system

    Current fish in the tank...
    Von Rio Tetras
    Cardinal Tetras
    Rummy Nose Tetras
    Platies
    Angel Fish
    Misc Cory Cat fish

What fish would need to be removed in order to successfully have Discus in this tank?
How many Discus are needed? Also don't want to overstock.
What of my landscape should I change if any? This picture of my tank about 6 weeks ago and have since removed 7 of the plants.

    Thank you for your help.

Hi Marc, the Cardinal Tetras and Rummy Nose Tetras are definitely ok. Unsure about the Von Rio Tetras and Platies. Some folks keep angels with their discus and others do not. You will need to see which cories can handle discus warmer temps.

If you try to attach a picture be sure it is 2MBs or less. Are you considering plants with the discus. Also a lightly populated 220 is about 10 to 12 discus.
