Great looking setup!! Nice job with the lights. Not sure if your painting the whole setup. But emt does rust so it’s best to paint the poles too. Looks great but I can’t believe your still plan on putting it upstairs!!

Ah I am painting everything! Poles especially.

Also a 6 ft tank looks so majestic from a distance. Wifey and I decided to keep it downstairs just so we can enjoy it more. I'm glad shes loving it too. She was skeptical at first.

    Thanks Dano!

Great news!! Because it looks great there!! That’s a great wife!! Now maybe let her add something to the tank. Get her involved . Mine when I set up a 90g a few years back added some glo-tetras. Yes I know everybody hates them. These have doubled in size and seem to be long lived. One died over the Summer after 5+yrs the other is still doing fine.

I agree w Tom. When I set up the 500gal in the basement I was temporarily housing a group of kigoma 7 bar frontosa in the 125gal I agreed to get rid of to accept the 500. One morning my wife was sitting in front of the 125 and she noticed "the cute bumps on the heads" of the kigomas, and decide she wanted to keep the 125 where it was with the kigoma. An "innocent" plot with another favorable "wifey" outcome!

New tank looks great! Now how about pics of the 75. Will you now be keeping the 75 too. Hey if looking for plants I cut my plants regularly and I can send some your way. Have different plants that are all growing in 86* temp.
