If they look like blackworms and taste like blackworms I would say their blackworms, and you have blackworms

Hey guys and gals! I bought a small batch of live Blackworms from the lfs and I just wanted to confirm if these are actual Blackworms or if they are tubifex? I initially bought thses live Blackworms to condition an emaciated discus that my neighbor gave me. He is much more Skinner compared to my own discus (apparently dude didn't feed his discus for 2 weeks, I'm surprised that it was even still alive honestly) Also I was wondering if freeze dried Blackworms would bulk up this discus like live Blackworms do? Thanks!

Those look like blackworms to me. when I had live blackworms (years ago) they looked just like that
They look like live blackworms to me Jay. However if you google live tubifex worms they do look similar.
Pat

Thanks Pat! Yeah I searched up tubifex and they did look exactly the same. The lfs I bought them from confused me since he said Blackworms and tubifex. Should I feed the emaciated discus live Blackworms, then freeze dried? He seems to be only eating frozen bloodworms for the time being, but he doesn't seem to be bulking up quickly. Thanks!
