Discus black poop???

As the title says my discus have started pooping black feces. Has anybody ever had this happen and could it be a sign of disease? They look healthy and are eating.

I have some poop reddish black, it depends what you feed.

Black poop I think is generally the norm. When it starts getting clear and stringy is when there's usually a problem.

Besides being a “crappy” topic (), this Discus keeper is indeed pleased w black feces. It’s the white stringy fecal matter that is of concern. May you continue to see the blackish turds......
