piperazine dihydrochloride
I recently acquired some of this and I am told it is almost the same as levemosile i would like to use it for callanus in my fish. Does any know what the mixture is how many grams per gallon. Thank u

Piperazine is not absorbed well so should be administered in food. It's actually better than levamosile because it's not as toxic. I'm not sure of the exact formula.
You should always re-treat a time or two because these drugs don't kill the parasite, they paralyze them and they or the eggs are easily ingested.

Just sharing..... Seems like the levamisole was faster working and more thorough. After using it no more worms were found, but if I remember correctly with the pipzine it took a longer treatment period (used it both in food and in water as per instructions on the pipzine.)

The only reason they could be called almost the same is because they're both wormers. They're no more similar than Safe Guard and Nemex are similar. Levasol does a far better job.
