Thanks guys. Love his color too. He does eat quite a bit that’s why he’s so chunky.

I had to import some a couple years ago from Bulgaria. There were some that were imported by another person before me and those were reported to not retain the black fins when they got to adulthood. Fortunate enough that mine did retain their black fins and was able to breed some last year.

Those are really nice. I've always been a big fan of angels. I've always kept some strain of angels over the years. I would really like to have some of those. I keep 8 albino Dantum Angels now; four pairs. I actually prefer angels over discus.<- Oops

I tried and no much luck with the albino. The babies can't seem to find food like the other strains. Seems they can't see or even smell as well. Angels are usually easy to raise. I will be trying again this spring. I'm trying key hole cichlids in that tank now. Hope you have luck with that strain.

It gets tricky with the albino angels. Due to photosensitivity and maybe poor visual acuity, they’re having problem finding food. Try moving the light away from the fry until they start moving to the middle of their tank. Ambient lighting works better for them. Goodluck with them.

With my BSP, I currently have freeswimmers. We’ll see how they do....

A friend of mine recently spawned albino dantums. The fry is so light sensitive early on that bright lights will cause blindness. He kept them under red light with a towel over the tank for the first week. After that, they had no problems with lights. Another had the same experience with albino manacapura angelfish.

At my age, everything is irritating.
