    Default German Santarem Discus

Today I got to meet Tom (coralbandit), who brought own 10 German Santarem Discus babies that he has raised from his pair. These are the first fish for my new fish room and thought I would start a new thread here and keep updating it as it goes.

Nice...Congrats you have a great set-up for these guys to prosper and grow. I've always liked growing my own fish to pair up. Looking forward to see them grow.

    Liz
They are nice and fat and love to eat, they come up to the front of the tank altrady and love the freezed dried black worms from Al.

Thank you for checking in with my post and will be keeping this updated as I go, so hopefully wont disapoint.

    Fred
Thank you and am hoping that the way I have it set up will prove to be good. I agree with you there is a particular feeling when you take some babies and grow them and then they spawn and you get wigglers. Very satisfing.

Gotta love chubby little discus in a squeaky clean barebottom tank with oversized sponge filters. But then I'm an obsessive!
