    Default Eggs look normal?

    Hi,

New to keeping discuss and have a second batch of eggs ( first disappeared over night last week) I've noticed some of the eggs have what looks like fungus growing out of them. Is that normal or a sign there is an issue with the water? Also if your wondering that heater isn't in use 1.1.jpg

It looks like a very fertile batch of eggs, and yes some are fungus but this is normal.

They look great. Are you using the heater as a laying surface or did they just pop em on there to surprise you? Most keep the heater horizontal and close to the bottom in an adult discus tank, especially breeding set ups, so this doesn't happen.

Thats a heater I turn on when doing a water change..I don't usually have it in there just forgot to take it out.

Not long after my post I started to get wrigglers which they started to eat. I read that's normal for new parents so will stick with it.
