does dad taste better then mom

my fry are 2 days free swimming and it seems they prefer the tast of dad ?
they are always on the father, even if he tries to shake them of next to the mom, they still try to go for dad

anyone ever had this experience?

Perhaps the dad body colour and size attracts the frys.

mom in the front, dad in the back, he has just darted away from the fry, still they swim to him

Dad is generally the most attentive. I figure that he may be makes subtle signs to attract the fry that we don't notice but the babies do.

In my experience, fry always spend more time on the father than on the mother. Sometimes the pair will fight. Rather than removing one, I put a divider between the two adults. The fry can move between the two to feed.
