Sorry that i haven't been keeping up to speed with your thread Frank, but have you got these guys on a beef heart mix yet? Their mom died? So sorry to hear.
Looking forward to further updates and your brilliant pictures.
Today is the final day for BBS. They are mostly swimming through them, looking for bigger food.
On another front, my meds for the female that died (on Monday the med shipped) came in yesterday. They were shipped on Monday and arrived locally on Wednesday night. Travelled around the system. Where? They never said. USPS service.

We're here for a good time...not a long time
I may have to duck and hide but I have never been a beef heart feeder. Presently, Tropical D-50 baby pellets, FDBW with Spinach (Al’s), with an occasional Bug Bites Flake. I also throw in some Golden Pearls (more so when they were younger). Yes, unfortunately the female died. It was a real grief. She was a beautiful fish in my eye.
Still thinking through how many of the fry to keep (8-10 initially??). I have decided at this point, no shipping. I also need to think through one more tank. I might put a 125g into my Study for the adults and move out the breeder or the 75g into my library area. My wife and I have talked about the downstairs area. She is agreeable (“Don’t get rid of all the babies!!! ) but it would off-balance the downstairs decor. Decisions ... Maybe the adults into the library area. Problem is that I like to view the fish.
What will you do with the ones you're not keeping, Frank? Any Discus lovers near by you?
Mama Bear
I am sure there are some Discus lovers who would be willing to pick-up.
If I keep 8, I would have two groups of 6 for sell. We will see.
A couple of months ago, one of my LFS indicated an interest but I have not re-approached them yet. I would rather have some assurance they went to a good home.
Some pics from yesterday afternoon. Still eating. Still growing.

Well...If you happen to change your mind about shipping 6 all you need to do is give me a wink and a wave.

Frank, I had been told that all wild discus have the Heckle gene and that occasionally that in a batch such as yours several will develop the Heckle look. Alenquer discus do this. I don't see it now in the photos but do you see it in any of your fry?
They continue to thrive Frank...looking fantastic!
Lovely, healthy looking brood there
