Thanks Tammy! I took it in 4K video but it only uploaded in low-res.

Seeking recommendations on how to handle a 4-day vacation. I am planning an out-of-town trip soon. My adults will be fine without eating. However, my thoughts go toward the 8 youngsters. Our last break, I stayed home (wife to the grandchildren trip) in order to care and feed the babies. Having someone come in is not possible. My thoughts are heading towards light feedings from an automatic feeder (Eheim).

    For example:
Tuesday - I can give them a WC & feeding of FDBW before I leave.
Friday - I can give them WC & feeding when I return.
The in-between days 3-4 light feedings of their favorite pellets.

    Any thoughts of consensus here?

I’d say your plan is good. I went away last year for a week with my wife feeding once a day no wc and all was good when I got back. A few days shouldn’t be a problem . Enjoy!

Frank, if you decide to do the auto feeder set it up before hand and make sure it is working correctly so the tank is not flooded with food when you are gone.

Frank, not to worry I don't feed for three days before shipping by the time the person receives the Discus it at least another day or two.
So if your going away for 4 or 5 days no feeding would be fine, it takes 3 to 4 days before they empty out their stomachs.

Thanks for all the feedback! I selected Cliff's since his is representative of the consensus (some by conversation).
For just 3-4 days, I think maintaining clean water is more important than the very light feeding (and the possibility of a feeder malfunction). So, clean water it is!
