Got back from a 4-day away from the juveniles. They did great! Looks like they grew some.
Here are some 16-week birthday pictures! I have not attempted a measurement but I think the largest is for sure over 3 inches.

Pat stated that with hers, color should begin to develop between 3-3.5 inches. There were no color distinctions among hers. See post #332.

17 weeks. I did get a read on the biggest juvie - close to 3.4'ish inches!!! So, they are ranging from 2.8-3.4 inches. If you paste the two pictures together, you have all 8. The last two weeks, I have been feeding Al's FDBW Bio-Pigment Plus instead of just FDBW+spinach. They are turning orange'ish.

Anytime you are talking length you need to specify SL or TL. SL = standard length so no tail is measured, . Nose to end of tail (total length).... Or ask discus seller which method they use for the fish they sell..

I have always measured TL.
Therefore, all the measurements in this thread are tail length.

Why would there be two measurements? Fishing regulations for minimum keeping is head to tail. Why would one not measure the tail as well?
