Pigment loss

Hi everyone,

I wonder If someone could possibly tell me what this white pale mark is please?

I did have a pleco in the tank, could it possibly be from the pleco sucking my Discus? Or is it something more sinister?

Fish is fine, eating and happy.... And has been for 2 days.

It could be an issue hard to say .We need more info on fish like your water parameters including temp ,water change schedule [amount changed how often] what you feed ,tank size ,total stock of tank and how long you have had them .I would not keep plecos with discus personally for the very reason that concerns you .

Temp at 90, I turned it up for a few days to see if I could solve it. Salt also added.

30% change every 3 days,

30 gallon holding tank b4 being addded to my main tank, they stay in there for around 4-6 weeks.

4 juvs in the tank between 3-6"

Fish with me for 4 weeks at present.

I've never had a pleco befour, he was given to me, so I put him in the holding tank, I've kept discus for 20 years and never seen anything like it? That's why I thought I better ask... (there's always something new to learn) 😊
