Default Going into RO Water blind

I'm not sure where to begin. TO be honest the idea of tinkering with my plumbing isn't something I'm comfortable with. But I have a spawning pair but also a TDS measure of 370. So I'm unsure about a few things.

.1 Do I still need to add dechlor as normal?

.2 What TDS should I be aiming for?

    .3 Should I get a 2/3/4/5 stage Ro filter?

.4 Is there any system I can available that doesn't require plumbing?

.5 What other tips and tricks should I take into consideration?

It is recommended that the TDS for spawning in should be around the 50 - 60 mark. Yes you need check the chlorine levels AFTER the water has been thro the RO machine - if it's a good one it will remove 99% chlorine. All RO machines need to be fitted in-line from the source. they need pressure to work properly. Some of the better RO machines will come with it's own pump included. Buy the best RO machine you can afford - the more stages the better the filtration. remember also one thing..... you must FLUSH the RO machine before each use - there is normally a flushing tap on the machine somewhere. It means that you flush out the old water that has been sitting in the RO machine since your last use.
