Eventually it might be also Blue Turquoise as you can see some striations on the body ... time will tell.

Is there a way that she fully recovers and shows full colors? I wonder does such an illness and stress might damage immunity system so deeply that she continue to be dark.

I observed two things about my not really healthy fish.

    1. She loves to spend hours above an airstone, so she surrounded by bubbles. I read that microbubbles might be dangerous for discus. Is it correct?

    2. As you can see in the photo (I hope as quality is not great) there is a long stringy white poop. Some sources say that 'black plague' might be a combination of few bacterial infections. Might it be a case that after lowering pH + Epson salt some external bacterias have been combated, but there is still some internal parasites?

... I try to make a better picture during the day.

It’s almost three week when she started to swim alone in the hospital tank. Patient is in the stable condition: not better not worse. Evenings she gets a little bit of brighter colour, but morning becomes black again.

I keep changing water 60% daily.

Should I keep doing like that?

Keep it going. What medication is in the tank?

1st week - pH lowered by peat to 6.8 plus Epsom salt 1tbl per 3 gallon
2nd week - obviously same ph level plus sera baktopur direct https://www.petloverscentre.com/prod...-direct-24tabs
3rd week - no meds no salt

    Daily 60% WC

There is noticeable improvement as some colors are back, but it looks we might be half way through

It's mainly because of your great help and amazing data knoladge from the forum. I started with discuss just a few weeks ago. I would never provide a proper healthcare without a knowledge from this forum. Thanks a lot!

What should be conditions (eating, full colors?) to put her back to the main tank?

I had read somewhere that if this is the black disease that up to 6 months of quarantine. Seems excessive to me but if you have the space to keep her isolated why not hold for another month? Better to be on the very safe side. Watching for strong color, good fins, black poop, and good eating. You are building the immune system so why not try the Vitachem that has been discussed on another thread?

Patience is a virtue .. I will wait for a black poop :-)

Regarding Vitachem. I'm adding vitamins into to the self-prepared food (lamb heart + prawns + spinach and garlic).
IMO there is no big difference.
