laying eggs on the sponge

Guys and girls,
just to tell you curious thing. My newly formed pair laid eggs on sponge of the sponge filter. This is a strangest place to lay the eggs. I heard about everything but directly on the sponge. Incredible.

Actually the sponge is a good place to lay eggs. Movement of water reduces the chances of fungal spores settling on the eggs. The parents don't have any problem dealing with this. And it's a lot better than when they spawn on the heater tube.....
