    Default Madhan1979

    Madhan I cannot reply to your PM as your mail box has exceeded it's limit. Here is what I wrote;

    How big is your tank?
    I would add 1 fish per 10 gallons of water as they do best in groups.
    Driftwood adds a nice touch for viewing.
    As far as I know there is no foods that will cause yellow color, or reverse the affects of red enhancers. Stop feeding foods that enhance the red ..most flake & commercial pellets will turn your fish red or orange d/t the presence of astaxanthanin. Make a beef heart mix. Lots of recipes on this site.
    I encourage you to post your questions in a thread on the forum as well...you well get lots of help from members on the site.
    Have a good day!

    I got a PM from him about the same thing. I asked him why he didn't post his question on the open forum and then gave him the same answer as you gave, Danny. But I told him that I had used 90% ground turkey with good results growing out fry to adults on nothing else. It was an experiment I used on a spawn of Blue Diamonds.

    Lol, good one Liz. I don't think he really knows how the forum works cause he posted his driftwood question in Vinnie's driftwood thread...
    What was the other 10% of your ground turkey mix?

    Nothing but the ground turkey. I just froze it in gallon zip locks and broke of pieces and threw them in the tank. It worked great. Fish grew big and round and healthy. I should try it again!

    I remember the time when I didn't know how an internet forum worked. I made the same mistakes except for the PM thing. At least it doesn't take too long for even a dummy like me to figure it out. Being in a forum is like being among friends.

    I agree Liz, except with you being a dummy! This forum in particular stands out for it's daily activity and great info source. I have been a part of numerous forums and moderated on 2, but SD beats them all. It's especially cool that there is a stable population of people that do not seem to tire of putting in effort to keep things fresh, answering questions & moving things forward...that draws newbs like me and makes for an environment where I wanna stick around even though I do not currently have discus...looking forward to some again soon...your stock, Al's and Brian's...no pressure!!
