Just a thought but when I was reading this I was wondering if you had air fresheners or possibly cleaning around the tank. Do you have tops on tank? Could any airborne molecules got into the tank? Just offering a Hail Mary but when in don’t water changes have always been my first go to

Thanks Joshua, it was worth a thought, they're in a fish room though so definitely nothing like that out there. Luckily I've got another shot, the next brood are coming on nicely
