    Nice Larry! I've always had a soft spot for Frotosas. I had some Wild caught Zaire Blues years ago that were a lot of fun.

    Agree, very nice Larry. I reckon cypho's are the discus of Lake Tanganyika...slow moving, graceful, and very beautiful!
    Here's my previous Kapampa group;

    Very nice grouping of frontosa you had, love these fish maybe will go back to them one day. That group I bought as 1/2 inch fry the breeder sold to me.

    Nice Larry. Did you raise them to breeding age/size? I got mine at 2-3" and sold them at 5-9" before they reached breeding age. They're slow growers as you'd know, and it's a shame it takes 3-4 yrs for them to reach breeding maturity...they do test ones patience in that respect, but they're graceful and majestic to watch glide through the water. I have a group of 7 mikula that I am currently growing out but they're in a tank I maintenance at the men rehab accommodation my church runs. They were 1.5-2" when I got them and are about 3-3.5" atm.

    Yes they were breeding when I sold the grouping to purchase my first discus. Sold tank and all.

    Larry here's a few pics of my current group of 7 gibb zaire mikula. A mate of mine here in Cincinnati has a wild group that these came from. They're young, about 3-4" now, and are housed with yellow labs, lab. hongi, and some blue dolphins I bred myself. Because of their tank mates their trailers keep getting nipped off, but these guys are destined for the 500 gal tank I will be inheriting soon and should reach their max size potential in the big tank.

    Some nice blue hues coming in already. This particular locality gets super deep blue as it matures...I love the mask over the eyes that gibb's get as well.
