I think artificial reproduction is very difficult to keep 100% fry
But artificial reproduction completely eliminate parasites!

I don't have dosing as I have never done it, but breeders here dose parents with potassium permanganate to treat flukes and other external parasites.
Hopefully Liz, Tom, and a few other more experienced breeders will chime in here soon. In the meantime though use the sites search engine to search PP treatment
