    Question Unexpected Discus Fry

    Hi everyone,
So I recently got my first order from Kenny and now 2 weeks later they are already breeding. They are actually laying eggs as I am typing this! Pretty exciting . I wasn’t really prepared to house any fry. I do have a spare 10 gallon tank if I could try to save of the fry. Are people usually interested in buying discus fry? Just wondering what my options are. Thanks for your help, Lucas

It's usual for 2 mature Discus to spawn shortly after delivery. It's the stress that pushes them into the breeding mood, as far as I can figure. Let's hope that your kH is too high for the eggs to be able to hatch and the parents will eat them. With only a spare 10 gallon you are in no way prepared. Spend more time reading around here and you will get a clue of the tank space you will need to raise baby Discus to an age that they are big enough to sell and all things considered you will loose money rather than make money.
