I will. Just that I'm wondering how much there's a couple of wigglers for the past couple of days but the other eggs havent hatched. They seemed to have eaten the unfertilized eggs already tho.

It looks like there were around 20 to 25 eggs that were fertile. Are you saying the wrigglers can'tbreak thru the shell? What strain is this.

Only saw a couple of wigglers swimming the rest either couldn't break thru or weren't fertilised. They removed all the eggs. Hopefully they will spawn again soon

May want to check water hardness. Soften
the water helps the eggs to hatch out easier.

Your water is already soft then the wrigglers were too weak on this spawn to break thru their shell.

    Thanks Cliff. Gotcha.

    Here are the current parameters:
    Temp 29C
    Ammonia 0
    Nitrite 0
    Nitrate 0
    PH 6.2
    GH 1
    230 PPM

I have been noticing that every time I do a partial water change (even if a small amount), there is a white coating all over the tank for a couple of days then it goes away. I also have a feeling I might've reset my tank cycle when I cleaned it thoroughly when I introduced this pair to the tank. I'm on top of my water changes to ensure there's no spikes in Ammonia and Nitrite. Is there too many minerals in my tap water? Any idea what's going on?

On a side note, the pair have started to take on food now bit by bit. Hopefully they will spawn again soon

Your water at 230ppm is fairy hard. My water hardness runs around 70 to 120 ppm.

is there a way I can make it softer? my tap water is around 120ppm but for some reason it goes up once I add to the tank? is the anti-cholrine making my water hard by any chance?

Hatch the eggs in tap 120ppm, just pull the eggs out after spawning. Place the eggs in a
incubation tank(2 gallons) when fry first free swimming, either transfer the fry to the breeding pair or to a foster parents.

They are at it again. This time I managed to stabilize my PH with my DIY add-on for my sponge filter. The water is still hard but I have decided not to chase numbers and focus on giving them stable parameters
