    Default Hikari Frozen Bloodworm Sizes

Hey guys and gals, I was just wondering if there is really any difference between Hikari Frozen Bloodworms and Hikari Frozen Jumbo Bloodworms? I usually use the regular sizes, but as my discus have been growing I noticed that they seem too small for them now. They will still eat it, but they seem to go hunting around for larger worms. Most if not all my discus are near the 4-6in range except for one which is in the 7-8in range.

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of a discus not being able to eat the Jumbo Bloodworms, am I just being paranoid or is it a marketing ploy to get me to open my wallet more for "bigger" worms. Thanks for the advice!

I have the jumbo worms and prefer them to the regular as do the fish. Just try one package and see what you think of them.

Oh I see, maybe I'll stick with regular bloodworms. I'm buying mine online since unfortunately, I'm not allowed to go outside during the pandemic due to my health condition. Also thanks for the input!

I have used the jumbo and they are larger .
So are other brands like Omega in compare to the regular Hikari .
I like the smaller for my rams and fish .Even my discus enjoy the 'little' ones but I bet now they are larger they would like bigger ?

I can't believe it! The legendary coralbandit has replied to my topic! This is amazing, I love your rams mate, they're the best!

Anyways, I digress, but yeah I was wondering maybe the larger discus would want larger worms? But I've gone ahead and bulk ordered the half regular and half jumbo. I'm gonna see how they react to it hopefully they still eat it. Thanks for the advice Tom! I really appreciate it!

OK, so y'all scared me so bad about any brand except Hikari that I drove 50 minutes to Mount Juliett and bought 12 packs of cubed Hikari FBWs.
All the lfs here in Nashville only sell San Francisco Brand.

That should last me a while.

The fish went NUTS when I thru them in the tank!

That was my point. By the time the dog, cat, church mouse, parakeet, and the wife catch wind of your 12 pack find they will be gone in a NY minute.
