    Default Reef tank copepods?

Can someone confirm these are copepods? In 2 years I have only seen these this one time. Next day - gone.
I assumed if ever I saw pods in my tank they'd be smaller. These things are big like darn near 1/4" long!

Do Clownfish eat pods? (The image got rotated during upload somehow...)

Thank you. I see most isopods are good for the reef tank.

Its of funny how things evolve in a hobby. I had not realized how generic the term "pods" has become in the salt water aquarium hobby.. Theres an interesting article on "Pods" here...

Good article. Written almost 2 decades ago, very informative. The author describes in detail, 18 types of "pods". Thank you Al.
    Excerpts:
-Over the last couple of years, one term, "pods," has become almost ubiquitous in
discussions of reef aquarium animals. Almost any online forum discussing coral reef
aquaria contains statements about "Pods doing this, that, and the other thing." Unfortunately, upon even
cursory examination, it soon becomes apparent that most of the people writing about "pods" don't have a clue
as to what animals they are discussing, except, of course, that they are discussing "pods."

-The use of the term "pod" is probably meant as a diminutive of one or more of these terms.
Given that of and by itself, the term "pod" is meaningless and confusing, I
thought it might be useful to present a quick guide to the various
potential meanings using the above list as a basis.

I'm hoping my "pods" are harmless scavengers, and will need to investigate further.
