    Default Ich Procedure?

Although my fish don't have Ich I am still curious if treating ich on discus is different than treating it on say an Oscar or a Tetra? I would love if someone would give me a full breakdown of the Ich procedure they use on their discus and explain how it is different. Thanks a lot!

For the most part, ich will not survive high temperatures. So if you were to keep discus at 85F, then ich infections are rare to non-existent. Having said that, I have personally run into heat resistant ich once 15 years ago. It came in with a large shipment of Corydoras sterbai from one of the Florida fish farms. I've never run into discus with ich.
At my age, everything is irritating.

Thanks for the detailed reply, I will be sure to keep this in mind if the fish ever happen to get ich!
