Each to their own I guess, but discus are supposed to be and should be the feature fish in a tank.
I was scanning YouTube at work as I do when it's chilled and I found this video on a snake head type fish. As I watched, the vid cut to different set ups with these fish and other tank mates. When this set up popped up I thought "are you mad?" Everything looks kosha during the few minute clip but you gotta wonder how many tank mates became snacks...

21 Discus, 7 Green Tree Frogs, 3 Eastern Dwarf Tree frogs, 1 Coastal Carpet Python,6 sawshelled/Murray river turtles, 2 dogs, a cat, 2 kids and a wife. Phew...what a mouthful

Also, the snakeheads are butt ugly.
At my age, everything is irritating.
It’s a utube video! They do this just for shock. All those fish were added for the video. If the snakeheads adjusted to the tank they would eat 90% of what’s in there. I once saw an African cichlid tank with angels and discus. Same thing they throw all the fish in get a video and than remove. Don’t believe the hype .
No way!
That creeps me out!

Snakeheads can actually leave the pool there in and walk to another pool. They can breath outside water. They are illegal now in the US. Nice looking Geo in the tank too .
Right on Willie
I noticed the geo as well Tom... beautiful trailers!
I had a 12+ inch snakehead back in the 80's ..
He ate the first 16 large goldfish that were offered .
He 'shared ' the tank with an arowana , clown knife and red and black pacus .
That lasted maybe 1 year before all fish got traded back !
I don't think the angels or discus would fair well over time ?
