If you had any Pigeon Bloods back in the early 90's many of
them were like post #7.
The creator of the PigeonBlood was a Thai breeder name Kitti Phanaitti.
This was a mutation from the red turquoise Discus.

PB with PB. If you mix striated and PB you'll get heavy peppering. Most folks will stir clear of heavy peppering so best not to breed then;might not sell as well.Usually culls today from places that cull their discus for that. Some would think it's like taking a step backward in a breeding program.

Not only a step backward but also unnecessary loss of lives...I guess
