They look amazing!
Hi All,
So fortunate enough to live close by (40 mins away in Vacaville) and was able to pick up my Discus yesterday afternoon. I almost wasn't going to because of the terrible fires in my area, however evacuations were lifted and more firefighters have made it out here to assist with containment.
Well on to my review of Kenny's Discus, I'll keep it short with high-level bullet points:
- Kenny was ultra helpful and attentive from beginning to end (from first contact to pick up).
- Kenny was so friendly, he treated me as if we've been friends for many years.
- The discus were packed professionally (I watched a ton of youtube videos which all pointed out the same thing).
- The discus were as described, actually they exceeded my expectations (their colors we so vibrant just after released and showed no shyness).
- The discus ate out of my fingers for their very first feeding after 24 hours in my care (they showed no hesitation, see quick photo below).
When I set up another discus tank in the near future I'm heading straight to Kenny again! Also, I would immediately recommend him to anyone looking to buy discus. Just be sure you sign up for his email new stock updates as he literally sells out in days! The photo below is actually a shot from a short video I took of them eating from my fingers. I'm keeping my lights off for another day, I'll post better photos soon when the lights are on.

What a lovely group of discus. I personally like it when i see groups of the same strain like yours.
Good luck raising them to their full potential.
We're here for a good time...not a long time
Here you go, a quick tank shot plus feeding from this afternoon.

Very nice looking tank, scape & discus!!
Be sure to periodically get into the scape to remove trapped detritus. Failure to do so can result in an increase in bacterial counts which can cause your discus health to suffer.
Keep your updates coming. Looking awesome![]()
