    Default Tail fin damage?

    Hi,

Not sure if I am just being paranoid or not but though I would ask this forum. I have noticed quite a bit of Discus aggression recently and I am guessing this may be down to some form of breeding behaviour as one of my discus laid eggs the other day (that really is an uneducated guess though). Anyway my question is does the picture attached does the damage look like it has been caused by fighting or possibly some sort of bacterial infection?

For your reference: Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10. PH stable 8

    Thanks in advance
    Andy

Fins repair quickly. A male split the tail of a female last week. It has healed this week.

Just keep the water clean and it should quickly repair. How often are you changing water?
