Default Interesting behavior from male parent - 1 day old fry -

    Hello all,

Blue cobalt male with some interesting behavior with 1 day old fry. Some fry and still struggling to find parents and some on the tank bottom unattached.

Could this behavior from the video be the male be “presenting” his side to attract the fry on the tank bottom ?
He has turned darker, but is this behavior more Synonymous with something bothering the male ? He has spawned and raised plenty of fry in the past, just never noticed this behavior before.

    Thanks !

Or is the male just being a “deadbeat dad”?

It appears there is a health issue with that fish. I'd move it to a quarantine take and let the female feed the fry. She seems to be doing fine.

I am no expert but that looks like a swim bladder issue.
