Default Dutch Blue Rams for sale

These are different from the German Blue Rams because the strain was developed into what it is in Holland rather than Germany. The Dutch are a touch smaller and a bit more colorful than the German. I have both singles and "pairs" available. Pairs are $50. Extra males are $20. Extra females are not available at this time.

Here's the catch...USPS going through a hard time right now and Priority shipping isn't as reliable as it once was. I can only guarantee live delivery with Priority Express. Priority Express is expensive. On the other hand, I pack well and regular Priority works just fine most of the time.

Shoot, I had pics of the parents but I must have deleted them. They're in post 54 of this thread from back when I first got them http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...man-Rams/page4 I'll try to get a current pic of them tomorrow but it will be hard because they're in a 60 wide with a whole ton of young kids. BTW, the breeder maintains that these Dutch Rams are terrible parents. Not at my house!

15% of sales will be donated to Simply.

Thank you Joe. I don't have computer sense enough to do that myself. That's the pair. They look the same now but they are larger. I really lucked out when I found these. I wish you lived closer, too. I most want them to go to people with good taste in fish.

I just got some of these from Liz and they are great looking healthy rams ..
I don't often add new blood to the fish room let alone rams ..
These guys are not the most commonly found rams so I am thrilled I got some from Liz .

Awesome Liz. So these are fry you've raised from the pair you had the challenges with early on then?

Thanks for the compliments on the fish gentlemen. Danny, I don't remember having trouble with these other than the normal learning curve that comes with breeding a new type of fish. Could you be thinking of my Discus?

I think it was that they took quite some time to settle into a spawning routine Liz, but I could be mistaken...in the grand scheme of things I guess that's not really a challenge anyway, just part of being patient in the process, lol.
How many fry did you raise with this batch? You've done well!

I have Goldens from coralbandit that spawned almost immediately after I received them.

Sorry folks, I was busy running around doing things yesterday. Yeah, you're correct, Danny. But it turns out that the problem was mostly with me, not the fish. I just can't deal with 10 gallon tanks. I accidently suck up fry with WC. God only knows how many kids I've sent down the hose into the woods. Since I started breeding in 20 gallon tanks I've had excellent luck.

I have to smalish spawns together now in a planted 100 gallon along with some little Discus I had to remove early from the parents. I guess I have around 150 kids from the two spawns together. My new spawn that I moved with their parents to a 65 wide numbers close to 300. Now that I've learned the trick I'll be cranking out the kids at will. Next, I'll get going on the Blacks.

Yeah, I need to get off my lazy bum and get a pic. BTW David, I doubt that my pair will spawn as soon as Tom's did for you. They're playing lovey dovey and her belly is getting red, but they are just now starting to hit breeding age.
