Default live shrimps as live food

from a planted tank I had, I changed to discus. Due to the transition I had many shrimps in the tank and stayed with the discus.
After few days I noticed my discus start chacing and eat the shrimps.
So I want to know, if it's safe to feed my discus with small live shrimps??

I’m planning the same. I have a small heavily planted Betta tank with a lot of shrimps. They are breeding like crazy so even betta can’t make population on the constant level.

I move some (un)lucky cherry shrimp to a discus tank.

That is an expensive way to feed your discus! I put culls into my discus, angelfish and GBR tanks. On Friday I saw two GBRs with small Amano shrimp in their mouths. Sigh.
