It's almost completely gone today.
I'm guessing he got spooked and ran into something.

Ok, I was wrong.
Whatever this is it's spread to almost all the discus in the tank.
It's really hard to get a picture, but it looks like they are shedding their slime coat?

So far this is the only one getting dark

The only real changes I've made to the tank were
Adding flourish excel to try knock down some algae on plants I dipped in a peroxide mix.
