Peppering ?

I bought this two juvenile yellow PB a week ago. Now the are developing strees bars. I didn't knew PBs have stress bars . is this really stress bats or just peppering ?IMG_20201128_222946.jpg

Let's call it more organized pepper. It's not uncommon.

The one on the right does seem to have the beginning of the stress bars. I’m noticing a black background. Dark colors do produce peppering.

Those fish look like they're in good shape. If you put a light background on your tank, those bars will likely disappear. I paint all my tanks a light blue and the discus really sparkle.
