Hi everyone.
Good evening all.
I currently have a cleair 260 marine tank with a 55l sump so 315 in total, it currently has community fish in it. the tank dimensions are 100x50x80 ( L x W x H ) would this tank be suitable for 5-6 discus ? i am thinking about rehoming the community fish and keeping discus. I normally do 1 x 50% water change per week. could i keep that the same or do i have to do more smaller water changes per week?
thanks for any advice you can give me.

Re: Hi everyone.
Yes the tank will work for those fish. I’m guessing the measurements are metric. So about 100g tank. For water changes you will want to do 50%daily for the first month than you can reduce to every other day.

Re: Hi everyone.
You will find that most of us here agree that in order to get the most out of Discus is to give them large WCs epically at first. But if you do this it is important that the pH of your tap is within .2 points of the same water aerated in a bucket over night. You can't just compare your tap water with your tank water.
Oh, and of course, welcome to the forum!
