    Default Platy's

They served their purpose until they started to reproduce. I took as many as the LPS would take and they were still making more and more babies. I will never buy live bearers again. I knew better but did it anyway.

I managed to dispose of most of them (you do not want to know how). The few smallish ones that were left I moved to my Rainbow Fish tank. These days I hardly need to feed my Rainbows. The Plattys feed them

That's a funny story, Liz. I've seen this happen with endlers. A friend put a scoopful of endlers into his tank of giant altum angels so they make live food. The endlers produced so many fry that his angelfish just ignore the little guys. Now, he's got a really deep tank of altum angels and endlers that he can't reach.
At my age, everything is irritating.

So much for overly deep tanks. I'm OK with the Plattys so far, but they are easy to catch when they're young and stupid. It's doesn't hurt my heart if I have to turn the ex.ess into compost,
