Default Question for Al and other bloodworm/fishfood allergy sufferers

What are your symptoms? Do you have to actually touch the food or just being exposed to it is enough to trigger a reaction? Just curious. Thanks.

I've spoken to our local Department of Natural Resources people who develop this allergy because they have to maintain native species. In the most severe cases, just opening up a frozen package in the same room is enough to induce hives. Most of the researchers, however, can manage bloodworm allergy if they wear gloves.
At my age, everything is irritating.
