Wow! What’s a beautiful fish! Good luck for them!
Hi All,
Knowing how much you all like 'eye candy' and appreciate quality fish I am sharing this with you with the breeders permission ( @deansfishroom).
Wild Symphysodon aequifasciatus (Red Spot Green Discus) from Rio Nanay two from a group of about 12 brought back from Peru in mid 2019. This is their second spawn. The first was 2-3 weeks ago in the tank with the other discus. The first spawn was not removable and got to the 'wiggler' stage but disappeared overnight. If this one gets to the wiggler stage the stone will be removed. Enjoy!

These are outstanding wild green discus. Thanks for sharing.
That is great! Thank you for sharing.
Nice Roy, are these where your F1s came from?
Pat
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Hi @Second Hand Pat,
Yes, this is the breeder I got my F1's from last summer. He is one of the top breeders in our local aquarium club and has been breeding various for over 30 years.
Love it when Dean makes an appearance on the Aquarium Coop's channel, the guy is just plain likeable. I also really like the setup of his tank with the in-tank background and tiles, it looks really nice especially with those discus.
Very nice! You're doing a great job with these!!!
Hi @FLBlue - Dean is equally nice in person if not more so. Just an honest, genuine nice guy.
Hi @jeep -Thank you, my first time keeping Discus and I'm trying to do a good job. I like the newer colors / varieties but have always appreciated the 'wild' species the most for their understated beauty.
I feel the same way, but between Al and Pat, I've really developed an interest in wilds as well. I'm partial to the Cuipeua but also like the RSG's..
