    Default Deep colors

The color on this fish is so deep and rich. The pic doesn't do it justice, almost glows. Does anyone know what strain he/ she would be? Bought locally at a little fish store in San Diego.
Also, both fish in pic seem to be some sort of couple. They have been picking and cleaning that branch for about two weeks, fins fluttering (sort of dancing) and very protective of that area & each other, but no eggs :/...

It's a Blue Diamond/PB cross. They are called by different names by different breeders.

The PB in the background is called peppering in color. Most high end PB would be "cleaner" so to speak. Breeders have been breeding to breed the peppering out for a cleaner look.

Still, there are a lot of folks that like that look so many breeders have been making the BD/PB cross.

Just so beautiful... That's no filter, it's exactly what the fish looks like. Totally understand the perfection of trying to filter out the peppering, but I have to say, sometimes the imperfections are what makes them so pretty. Thanks again for shedding some light on this fish, been wondering strain since i bought it a few months ago..

Gorgeous fish, Tom!! Something about the clash in colors is so striking and almost looks electric.
