When my wife found it earlier in the year it was a typical Facebook page with many idiots! Lots of great people trying to help but overrun by idiots. Must admit it was very funny . I was on it just for the laughs! Hey can I keep African cichlids with discus?? My Oscar’s and discus don’t get along in my 20g tank. Why?…. But than it did get shut down . But it’s back not as popular because it’s a real site now. Many interested discus keepers not as much bs. Lots of pictures . The people running it are doing a great job and hopefully a lot less stressed than a few months back. But I do miss the questions! Can my red tail piranha coexist with my discus .

I'll tell you what, I was baited often when first using SD and I always bit. Now is the FB SD the same mods/group or different? I'm being forced to create a FB account (and I'm not happy about it) because I have to sell an outboard motor & other items yet FB Marketplace is "the place" for selling right now. Just wondering if worth me checking it out since I have to drink from the punch bowl temporarily (I'm deleting the account once items sold)

Looking for some info on this discus. Picture isn’t mine it’s from Pingo’s discus. Just wondering what it looks like when it gets bigger? If anyone who has it could post pics that would be great. It’s a tiger blue turquoise.

Tom, we have not removed anything. If something was removed, it was by FB. They have been tweaking and messing around with user functions constantly and maybe the interface removed something. As far as Pawida, she's still around but just not in the social media expert role at the moment. We all love and miss her very much and she will be back when she's ready, but for now she must take care of herself..

Thought it was strange. Thanks Brian yes she’s good people and hooked me up we some fish locally. Hope all is well with her!!

There used to be a reseller in the States for Ricky Lim’s discus. These days a lot of people are using fish transhipper to get discus into the United States. You can contact Yen Supaporn Sonthisataporn @ P&Y Discus Farm (Bangkok,Thailand���� if they do small orders through a fish transhipper.

Not kidding, I'm wondering how much Transhippers profit after whatever permit/cert expenses, import taxes, and dropping back off to get mailed again when I'm betting no additional shipping materials are needed. Freak'n pay over $30 for transhipping for a damn betta ($33 on last box 2-3 day USPS!... $23 prior to COVID which is still a mindblower).

I feel guilty but must confess I've been using a non-SD importer/ breeder for new fish due to prices rising on shipping. Thankfully the place is approx 2.5 hrs away so the shipping is any where's from $18 to $23 for 1 box of discus.

Guys, if you find something missing in a FB group it can also be removed by the original poster. FB use to "make sense". Now a days it seems harder to find posts within a group. I think the FB sorting algorithm is missed up.

Francis I’ve got no idea what a transhipper is. So I won’t be doing that. But thanks for the info they are good looking discus. I’ll wait till one of those guys next delivery.

Elliot $33 to ship a betta?? Aren’t they the fish-in the bowls a petco that sell for a buck? Can’t you win them at carnivals?
